Compairing Inspectors

Sometimes there's no comparison

Other Inspectors:
It's not something we get into, we feel that we are in the top echelon of Inspectors. There are other good Inspectors in the area and you will have to make your own decision and choose who you want to perform your Inspection.

Standards:
Inspectors are not required to adhere to any standards at all. We are members of both ASHI and NAHI the nations oldest and most respected Home Inspection associations. They both promote professionalism while enforcing standards and ethics for Home Inspectors nationwide.

CNN's Clarke Howard regularly promotes the benefits of hiring an ASHI member Home Inspector.

Price:
First and foremost, we are not the cheapest in town. We are the best value, giving you an incredibly detailed report on what is probably the largest purchase you will make this year. Would you look for a "discount" eye surgeon?

Photos:
We do not waste time taking and printing photos. You are employing us to perform a Home Inspection, not produce a sales brochure! We use the time at the house to Inspect, looking for defects or problems that may impact you or your family.
The choice is yours,
pretty color photos, or solid informative content?

Random Testing:
We do not believe in checking one or two windows, an outlet here and there, and a heating register on each floor. It has been our standard to access everything we can get to and test everything, it's too easy to miss the random problem!

Do we go in the Attic:
Yes, right into it, not just looking from the access. Oh yes, the crawl space and on the roof where possible.

Afraid to make a determination
"Recommend further evaluation by a licensed contractor" is a very common comment in many Inspectors reports. Every problem that needs an electrician, plumber, roofer etc, will refer you to a contractor to determine the condition and the necessary repairs, adding additional expense to the cost of your Inspection.
You paid us to make a decision and we do..... we do not normally refer onwards.

Getting the Report
You will receive the printed report on site.  It will be given to you at the end of the Inspection in a binder, with copies of the summary pages which you can give to your Realtor. There is no waiting until the next day.

Are the Termite and Radon Inspections subbed out?
We get a professional to perform those Inspections. As a Home Inspectors we are technically "generalists", that means we do not specialize in any one field. Why have a generalist perform a specialists job?

Unfortunately........all Home Inspectors are not the same !
