Certified Inspector

Has a background that includes construction, remodeling and rehabbing older homes since 1977, both in the United States and Ireland (where he was born).

David holds both the nationally awarded prestigious ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) and the NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI) designation to his credit which very few Home Inspectors have accomplished.

Graduating in 1998 from the American Inspectors Society AIS in Atlanta with distinction David is Board Certified and a life member of the A.I.S holding a position on the Board of Directors. He is also a frequently invited guest lecturer at their training classes. Additionally, David has been awarded two AIS Inspector of the year awards.

A member of The American Society of Home Inspectors ASHI and has achieved the Certified Inspector status, having meet rigorous requirements, including passing a comprehensive, written technical exam and performing a minimum of 250 professional, fee-paid Home Inspections conducted in accordance with the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Joined the National Association of Home Inspectors NAHI in 1998 and shortly after that became a NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector CRI. The designation is given only to Home Inspectors who demonstrate their advanced knowledge of, and proficiency at, all aspects of a Home Inspection as well as pass the NAHI CRI Exam.

David is a current member and past president of the Ohio chapter of NAHI.

In demand as a speaker at numerous local and state business as well as at real estate seminars. David teaches continuing education courses approved by the state of Ohio. Classes are presented to all new Realtors in the Dayton area.

Retired (just too busy) from his position, hosting the live call-in radio show, "The Home Inspector" on Dayton's WHIO 1290.
